We just give you the tools to enable you to use your network the way they were meant to be used. Leaf Networks does not control your network, our software just makes it easy for you to create your own secure private network. The service we provide is merely a lookup service so you can find members to add them to your network. The connection you have with your members is a direct connection; there is no middleman between you and the connection with your members.

We are not a VPN provider since we do not own the connection, it is your connection between you and all your members. As the first Virtual Network Provider, we just offer you the network services and tools so you can easily create your own network.

Jeff Capone
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Prior to Leaf Networks, Jeff Capone co-founded Aligo, Inc., and served as the CTO until 2004. As CTO he was not only the company’s technology visionary, but he was also crucial in developing the company’s business model and strategy, raising $24 MM in capital, forming multimillion dollar OEM relationships with Sun Microsystems and Motorola, and opening up new distribution channels in Japan. At Leaf Networks Dr. Capone oversees business development, sales and marketing. Prior to Aligo, Jeff was an assistant professor at Arizona State University and Director of the Network Engineering and Wireless Telecom Laboratory. Jeff's distinctions include the National Science Foundation's most prestigious award for new faculty members (CAREER Award) awarded in part by the Next-Generation Internet project, numerous IEEE Journal and conference publications, held a position as an officer on the IEEE Technical Committee on Computer Communications, ACM/IEEE Mobile Communication Committee, and IEEE Global Communication Committee. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and BS from University of Vermont.

Pramod Immaneni
Founder and Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Immaneni has over 15 years experience in software development and networking infrastructure. At Leaf Networks Pramod oversee all technology decisions and manages both the US and Belarus based engineering operations. Prior to Leaf Networks, Pramod was the Director of Engineering at Aligo where he architected and built numerous software products that are deployed by Global 2000 companies worldwide processing millions of business transactions. He developed award-winning software products M-1 Server and Omni Mobile Application Platform. His products won numerous awards including Java Developer Journal Excellence Award and Network World Best Middleware Award. He holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering for Arizona State University and a BS degree from the India Institute of Technology Chennai.
